I wonder if there was ever any meat to those "Superman and the Authority" rumors? I gotta admit, it's a combo I struggle to see working, but if someone managed to actually pull it off it'd likely be a hell of a book.

"We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another, as if we were one single tribe."

I think some rumors floated that it was Jon and now it's looking like that's the Conner Suicide Squad book.
I just can't see Clark on that book without it being some awful Elseworlds thing. If I'm Bleeding Cool, this is where I start backpedaling until I hit something in the solicits.
The Authority without real-world parallels and political intrigue would be just a power X-force. Make them go cosmic and lose a lot of what made their great runs work.
They need their own world so writers can be free to push barriers in more meaningful manners than writing them as a cosmic hit squad. That's exactly my fear regarding having these properties back in the DCU.
They finally revealed that Tynion and March project. It's the Joker's ongoing.
To be honest, I'm disappointed.

Joker is getting his own book because of course he is: https://twitter.com/thedcnation/stat...520860674?s=21
They aren’t getting their own world. Last try was with the Ellis reboot and that’s DOA. Only play the Wildstorm characters will get now is if they’re used in the DCU.
Ok Tynion just said he’s working on a newsletter that will drop Friday when all the news is out. Solicits are definitely coming on Friday.
THE SIGNAL (Duke Thomas) is DC's secret shonen protagonist so I made him a fandom wiki
