Chief has a pistol, 1 grenade, an energy sword and Cortana.

His shield generator is BROKEN. No shields.

1: He storms Deep solo.

2: He arrives at dawn to protect everyone instead of Gandalf and company.

BONUS: Chief vs. The Balrog in Moria. Shields are working and he gets a grenade launcher.

The thought of Master Chief sprinting down the hill wearing a horse mask over his helmet, while the Uruk-Hai stare up in terror is... hilarious.

I don't think that there is anything that either side in the fight can do to even slow him down. If he charges down the hill, he'll kill everyone who fronts him, up to and including literally everyone else there. If he charges the walls, again, there is nothing they can do to even slow him down.

OTOH, he's just one guy: if he's defending, the wall will fall a bit more and many more people inside are going to die, just because he can't be everywhere at once.
