The writers have gone on record saying they want to flesh Steven out more, so yes.

Plus the writers said there will be annuals and an Anniversary special soon.

Kind of expect her to be back on Earth by the time the Anniversary special hits which would then bring Steve back into the fold.

I fully expect her to come back to life in issue #779, or during the 80th anniversary issue itself.

I hope the replacement back up is Cassie. We need to know what her future direction will be now that there's another Wonder Girl.

I'm down for more wonder family content but I quibble with the idea that we "need to know what her future direction" is - not like she's been even had a medium-sized presence in the DCU over the past decade.

I'm hoping it's a gatefold with them on the next page. That's how you do a WW 80th anniversary issue. It has to compete with great covers by Phil and George and the bronze age WW 300.

Steve is being used in the new checkmate that will be coming out Tuesday! I’m excited to see how they use him.

Based on the 2 pages alone....it is ok but not that big of a fan of the art. Seems a bit basic and nothing that really POPs to me coming out of the past 4 issues with very strong art.
