Sounds like WW is going back to monthly finally. Hopefully will mean more consistent art.

Wasn't there a Superman comic about him and Diana fighting in endless battles?

Funnily enough Tom King did a similar story with Batman and Wonder Woman.

It was the exact same story. WW and Batman/Superman get stuck fighting in an alternate dimension where they fight monsters for centuries in that dimension while time flows “normally” here. Diana gets horny and makes a pass on Bats/Supes, who are tempted but hold on to their pure love for their waifus back home and reject the temptresses’ advances. Suitably chastened Diana praises their pure love for their women back home and accepts they can only be friends.

If I was feeling uncharitable I would say Diana takes after her mom in having a preference for men already in committed relationships. Instead I’ll just point to these stories as examples of why Diana needs to stop being used for this crap with Batman and Superman by Batman and Superman writers who use her to prop up their guys at her expense.

That was about where I stopped reading Batman altogether.

I assume in 15 years time we'll get the hat trick where Batman and Superman get stuck fighting in alternate dimension with funky time rules with one of them having to turn down the others' advances.

Seriously. I understand that Diana is the epitome of femininity in the DC world, but stop having her throw herself at these men, who are then have her affections turned away in order to show the virtue these men hold over her. It’s disgusting.

I'm hoping they don't completely ignore Orlando's usage of Gudra and the Valkyries. I more or less liked the later part of his run and don't want to see it thrown out. Gudra can still show up and be Paula's ancestor. She could be immortal.

But this creative team makes me think odds are a little higher with them than we've had in the past.
Given her history, I'd say that every good Wonder Woman story that has been published for a very long time were so despite DC.

It's exceptionally gross! They will never truly give their hearts to her because someone else has it and Diana ALWAYS looks like a desperate hussy while their rep remains untainted. How nasty of DC!!!!!

Same here. I really liked Orlando's run and his usage of Gudra. Hopefully if Gudra appears in this upcoming story, Orlando's writing is kept in tact. Then again, DC has said "everything matters" post-Death Metal so perhaps we're worrying for nothing?

I wouldn’t say that’s particularly exclusive to Diana but yeah seems every WW writer with a good run always seems to have stories of clashing with DC over the weirdest things sometimes.

Anyway all of this looks very promising. Hopefully the art is for more than 30+ issues.
Godawful hairstyle on that woman, the previous one is even worse imo.
