It comes down to the colorist. I don't like the colors in True Amazon, but I love Jill Thompson's art in Wonder Woman 54

Curly hair (even the Farah Fawcett curls on waves variety) is always going to be how I think of Diana. Not strictly because it's how I was introduced to her in comics, but it also is very common in Mediterranean women which DC models her off lately, so it just fits best to me.

It also makes her even more unique in DC.

My ideal WW looks like Jill Thompson's depiction:

I remember when Jill Thompson was doing Wonder Woman someone asking why she looked like Mariah Carey. lol At the time Mariah's hair was just like that.

If we’re talking hair, I love Jason Fabok’s depictions with waves and body and Nicola Scott’s with waves, loose curls, and body.

On the topic of hair: has long wavy or curly hair been animated often? Not specifically for WW but for other characters. It seems like something artists would skip in order to keep the design simple.

    Outside of anime, not really.

“You see…the rest of them are soldiers. But [Wonder Woman] is an artist.”

I only support the made of clay origin.

Yes I want more Blakfu. He's one of the few non-Villainy Inc/Dr. Psycho/Mars Golden Age villains to somewhat make a follow up appearance above (it technically wasn't him, but it was a reference). Him being grouped with them almost makes him seem more significant than he is.
