For when my rants on the forums just aren’t enough: https://thevindicativevordan.tumblr.com/
The big difference is that with the Superfamily they rarely gather because the writer simply choose not to do it. The Wonder family rarely gather because their all considered part of different editorial lines from one another thus it requires
*a writer having an idea that involves using the other members of the Wonder family
*then having to give a detailed accounting of what they want to use that character for
*sending that detailed accounting to their editor to get their approval
*Have that editor contact the editors in charge of the line editors which both Teen Titans and Young Justice fall under
*Have that then lead to the specific book editors for Teen Titans and Young Justice look over this usage and decide whether it is okay
*Finally have it approved who knows how many months later and hope that the writer who started all of this is still on the book and DC hasn't had a required crossover that makes the plan impossible or that an editor doesn't change their minds while the upcoming story is being finalized.
The pecking order for what editors can pull rank on these kind of requests and who answers to what has never really been clear. Like how years ago Black Canary couldn't be included in Birds of Prey because editorial decided she was a Green Arrow character instead and wasn't allowed to be in anything aside from Green Arrow.
Donna being tied to Titans and Cassie to Young Justice is rather annoying when neither characters exactly considered central to either book.
It's always been so wild to me how infrequently Wonder Woman has been in contact or company with Donna Troy, Cassie Sandsmark, and other members of the Wonder Family; and when she is in contact, it's always fraught and adversarial. Almost in a sexist "women can't get along" way.
Author of the Instant New York Times bestselling novel, The Prophets, from G.P. Putnman's Sons.
While Diana is rarely allowed to interact with Donna and Cassie her relationships with them aren't always adversarial. In fact, they rarely are. Johns's Teen Titans is the only time Diana and Cassie's relationship was depicted that way and the only times Diana and Donna have had an antagonistic relationship where the New 52 and Rebirth.
There was also some agro going on between Cassie and Diana and Donna and Diana in Simone's run. I think the Cassie stuff was spinning off of the Teen Titans stuff, and Donna got possessed by Genocide to some extent IIRC.
And New52 is 10 years now, so that's 10 years of an antagonistic relationship. Or, whenever New52 Donna spawned out of a mud bath anyway.

~I just keep swimming through these threads~
I can see why the Titans editorial can 'claim' Donna because she originated in those books but Cassie originated in WW's own book before joining Young Justice and later Teen Titans. It doesn't make sense for the TT book to claim her and affect her role in WW's own title at the time.
Its funny how opposite Dick and Donna are. Dick is forever tied to Batman and the Batbook and thus anything significant that happens to him will happen in the Bat books. He will never undergo as much growth in the Titans book again as he did in the original NTT books. Donna was born out of a mistake and thus most of her growth was in the Titans book. She briefly got to be in the WW books until eventually she got taken back to the Titans book which continues to redefine and revamp her character.
Alright, if that lasso can command people back to life, im instantly declaring it my favorite take on the lasso.
I want to read the preview but I don't want to read the preview.

This looks crazy but I like it!
Thinking of the other thread about possession, illusion, telepathic assault and the lasso, how many times has Diana lost her mind? If everything is on the table she could go pretty nuts.
Cloonrad are awesome. This whole thing is the fairy tale that Wonder Woman deserves.
Gotta say I'm appreciative of Cloonrad's use of Deadman in their run. Diana fits really well with the magical side of the DCU and her friendships with Swamp Thing, Deadman, Zatanna, and Detective Chimp are so cool and add a lived in feeling to the DCU. And I think Diana will be back in JL Dark too so that'll be a treat!
That Becky Cloonan variant is hauntingly beautiful!
Also, unless me maths is wrong, this will be Cloonrad's 10th issue on the book. In a very short amount of time at that. Congrats to this team for making Diana's book fun again. Can't wait to see how this arc/saga finishes up and see what they have in store for when our girl is back on Earth-0.
I think I would confidently recommend the Travis Moore drawn issues to anyone, including people that never liked Wonder Woman. The art is obviously great, but it's also where the writing has been the strongest. The entire issues have incredible pacing and are just loads of fun.
