The majority might not agree, but a personal favorite would be...

Aliens: Earth Angel

Mine are a bot oddball as well, but I love them anyway.
Aliens: Sacrifice by Peter Milligan uses the abandoned Luddite planet that was originally going to be featured in Aliens 3.
Aliens: Salvation by Dave Gibbons and Mike Mignola, which is like what if Robinson Caruso fought an alien.

Both are one shots and are both amazing reads.

The first trilogy (AKA Outbreak, Nightmare Asylum, Earth Hive/War) is interesting as an alternate sequel to ALIENS, or even an alternate prequel as it has an alternate take on the Space Jockeys apart from the Engineers from Prometheus/Covenant.
