Oh I definitely think this is a passing of the torch moment, Clint is done and Kate is taking over. Renner can't play the role forever, and I'm glad the character is finally getting his moment to take the lead, even if it is just to pass the mantle along.
Really hope we do get those Ronin flashbacks too. That's a time in Clint's life I wanna see more of.
"We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another, as if we were one single tribe."
~ Black Panther.
I probably sound like a broken record by now but it's sad that we barely saw of MCU Clint and now that he finally got his own limelight, it was 10 years late. He had a lot of potential for interesting storylines even when the MCU don't follow the 616 Hawkeye canon. I hope this won't be the last we saw of Renner's Clint. Maybe he could return as a mentor to the YA members.
That aside, it would be cool to see him attach his quiver and sword case to his civvies and switch between the bow & arrow and sword. I'm definitely looking forward to the Ronin flashbacks. It would be cool whether he's the original Ronin or he got it from a predecessor. And it would be great if we saw at least one meaningful onscreen interaction between Clint and Phil.
This is so damn cool!
So the City of Canton, Atlanta kept this quiet. #Hawkeye is filming inside the historic Jones building from 24th-26th Feb and then continues filming on the March 4th-5th.
