Yeah I'm wondering if Hickman will be the writer after all. It's the kind of book Spurrier is the perfect fit for and if he is the writer, I'm excited to see how he'll write Monet and how she and Warren are in control of their penance/archangel form. I loved his X-men legacy so the possibility of Monet being written with that level of nuance makes me very hopeful.

I think so too. Would be incredible if somehow the real adult version of Cable was in this too, since Spurrier wrote an awesome, badass and ruthless Cable during his X-Force run. Maybe he cloned himself and the Kid Cable version actually killed a clone, since Spurrier established Cable’s ability to create clones (thanks to Nemesis) and upload his memories into those clones? Would mean two Cables running around, which would annoy some people; but we know that eventually Kid Cable has to go back to the future. So he’ll be gone at some point anyway.

No, that’s from the Empyre mini series that introduced this new X-Corps under Monet and Warren.
