I wonder if MODOK has mechanical psi shields, considering that he apparently has mechanical psi-amps that lets him fire his psionic beams.

I'm looking up more about MODOK and damn if versions of the character aren't actually surprisingly impressive. Like, nearly one-shot early Ms. Marvel (and would have done so, if he had known that her mind was two people instead of just one when he fired his psi-beam at her) and hold his own for extended periods against silver age (I think) Iron Man, destroying the apartment complex they were in in about a minute levels of impressive.
