I think the Marvel group has much more experience on the astral plane itself, and pure telepathic combat there, than the DC team.

If it were a standard arena fight, the DC team could hold off the Marvel telepaths and annihilate them telekinetically.

But on the astral plane I have to bet on the team that (probably, I think) has much more experience getting into fights and death-duels in that specialized environment.
