    Who the heck is Doc?

Anyway this was amazing. This have me feelings I had for HoX #1 and is what the X-Men series should have felt like.

Now that I rethink about it, the artifact Mysterium is probably linked with Beyonder.

100/10 and a galaxy of stars. And a first place tie with Marauders 16 for best book of my week.
Lord Ewing *Praise His name! Uplift Him in song!* Your divine works will be remembered and glorified in worship for all eternity. Amen!

Maybe the best first issue of any of the X-books since the relaunch? Hellions #1 was great too but this was...incredible.

The art, the obvious thought that went into the characters Ewing would use and the role they would play. It gave me serious HoXPoX vibes and I mean that in the best way possible. True we did not get an immediate sense of what S.W.O.R.D. is actually doing or opposing but that will come. This was about setting up the space station, who are cast is, and show them at work.

    I adored this.

The one complaint I had was I doubt Magneto would forget Cortez's name but he may have been kidding to make Cortez feel bad (and it sets up a pretty great gag with The Peeper - check out Captain America annual #4 if you want some background on the Magneto and Peeper's relationship)
Yep, it did look brightly coloured and yet futuristic like the Silva Powers of X issues.I got the exact same vibes down to the data pages using similar glyphs and pictograms..Great issue

    This is just Ultimates.

I mean, I liked Ultimates, so i don't care, but it's hilarious that it's just Ewing's Ultimates (but Mutants now)

That's good though Ultimates was fire and most of the cast weren't main players in 616 by any regards.

It's a natural extension of the Far Shore that Ewing has been seeding in stories since the Ultimates

This definitely echoed back to the Ultimates trying to go to the Outside, but the Six, by working in comparison were better prepared and were more successful in their mission. They went further than the Ultimates did.
