Not to be that guy who compares books, but it’s crazy that this book has been able to develop the concept of mutant technology better in one issue than Excalibur has been able to develop mutant magic in 15 issues.

Amazing issue. Good idea to use Magneto as the audience surrogate, so that us readers could be walked through what SWORD is organically.

it was a bit weird to see Magneto acting this way (like a person as opposed to just his reputation), but the Peepers vs Fabian interaction was great.

Was a big fan of how crazy Ewing got with Ultimates, so I am excited at what is to come. Its fantastic that he is also on Guardians, as an interaction between Rocket and Wiz-Kid seems ripe with potential.

Great first issue! The Wanda bits... Does Erik still see her as a daughter? She was his daughter for so damn long... (and still might be as well as a mutant) Yeah, they need to get over the Wanda thing. Make her and Pietro mutants again and the children of Magneto instead of these stupid retcons...

According to a page from Strange Academy #5, Magneto does see the twins as his children.

This was a great first issue. The art was amazing and the concept was interesting.

Im here for it. Didnt like Mags calling Wanda a pretender though, although he did seem sad about it
