This. I've owned 2 of them and this was one. Good contest, I've never tripped over so many covers I had to change cause somebody beat me to it.

That happened to me with the winning comic. I started looking up stuff on Golden on comics.org, then when I found that one it was already taken. That happens to me a lot because usually by the time I see the new contest has been posted, about 9 or 10 people already have posted something that first day!

Sauron. Why the cloth? He's about 95% Ptero and that last 5% of a man must be all shame and speech.

Big up to the pair that voted the No Prize Book, I finally got around to reading my copy from languishing in my read pile for about 2 years.

That's one I don't have either. It's getting to the point where I am satisfied to have the digital copy, if available. After I moved to a smaller place, I find that you can have TOO many comics. It just gets to be a chore after a while. First I started with buying collected versions like the Marvel Masterworks, which was the only thing Marvel was doing in that area for a while. My FF collection on the Stan Lee/Jack Kirby era was very spotty anyway. Now you can get TPBs on just about anything series they are currently doing.

That is odd about Sauron....even Dragon Man wears a pair of trunks and he's an artificial being.

Yeeea, I'm not even there yet. I don't rock with trades either. Dear God I've actually become Sauron, more old dinosaur than man.

Faaacts. I've been trading off chunks to a dealer friend of mine but I most definitely need to pick up the pace. Especially so that I'm in runs. Moving a dozen 10 gallon plastic totes full of single issues, up and down stairs, is an special chore I'm not interested in revisiting anytime soon.
