Default CBR Forum X-Books voting 2020

Another year has almost come and gone for Marvel’s mightiest mutants, and through there were debuts, deaths and stories told. Writers and artists both brought their best, and sometimes, their not-so-best to the table, and now it’s your chance to vote for your most (and least) favorites of 2020!

    X-Books voting 2020

In the early days this was done by worrstblogever, but as off 2016 he gave me his blessing to take it over.

You can start voting as off now!!
When voting has started it stays open until the 1st week of January. You can edit/change your votes till the closing date.

    Voting Rules:
    1. Let us not start debating each-others votes, or how much we liked or dislikes everything, there are many other threads in which we can debate. Let us just vote.
    2. For any category, you can allocate a 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place candidate for any award. 1st place nods are worth 4 points, 2nd place two points and 3rd place receives 1 point. You will have to nominate 3 per category to make your vote count. Please note: If you only submit one candidate, they will not get full scores.
    3. Please remember, if you insist on posting images of the covers, rather than just stating the issue number of the cover you’re nominating, that CBR only allows 4 images per post).
    4. When it comes time to vote, just reply to this post, delete out this opening part, and fill in the ballot below under “Categories”. Or, copy and paste the category parts below.
    5. In case totals will be the same, when the voting ended, the amount first place votes will be used as a tiebreaker, should there be one.

For each of the categories: If you have more suggestions, please do not discuss in this thread. Just vote for them and I will update the nominees/suggestions lists.

    Breakout Star of the Year
Choose three characters who are long time X-characters who you feel made the jump from the C or D-List, to the forefront, skirting the edge of, had exciting focus, or development, or possibly joining the ranks of the A-List of Marvel’s Mutants. Think Black Tom, or Cypher last year.

If you nominate someone, please do explain why. Please mind that A-listers don't break out, they are suppose to be front and center. A character returning from death or limbo, should be in the Comeback category.

Suggestions and voted for so far
    Apocalypse
Armor (appearing in NM, X0S, Cap Marvel, X-Factor and SWORD)
Aurora (becoming officially part of an X-team)
    Cypher
Daken, becoming part of an X-team
Eyeboy, making it to the big lagues in X-Factor
Gorgon- From fringe villain to captain and hero of Krakoa
Greycrow (Scalphunter) becoming a star in the Hellions
    Juggernaut (own mini)
    Kid-Cable
Mister Sinister, who became the leader of the Hellions
    Monet/ Penance
Northstar, finally becoming a leader of an X-team (X-Factor)
    Polaris
    Psylocke II (aka Kwannon)
    Pyro
    Sage
Saturnyne, becoming a major player in the X-books
    Shogo
    The Five, shining in X-Factor
    Vulcan
    Wildchild
Wildside, a hero for the 1st time

Please note: Greycrow, Nanny and Gorgon are in the category comeback of the year, as they were absent for quite a while, so they belong in that category.
