Default Rob Liefield tapped to reboot Archie Comic's "The Mighty Crusaders"

I was hoping for Mike Mignola to do a Hellboy meets Mighty Crusaders but I guess this is something.

I never became a Liefield fan so anyone else have any thoughts?

I'm an ironic fan of Liefeld, but this is unexpected in the best of ways. Nobody ever cared about these characters before, but Rob has a dedicated fanbase so we'll see what happens with them.
I still miss Renee Montoya. Oh, and I'm a dude.

I'm actually intrigued by this. I'm not a Liefeld fan, but I don't dislike him either. And given all the attempts to get traction with these characters, I agree with armlessphelan -- Liefeld's got a built in fan base, so they may help get these characters the attention some of us think they deserve.

I mean, I like them anyways, so I'm in.

I'm a fan of Archie's superheros and was enjoying the last incarnation.
Not the biggest Liefeld fan but I'll check this out all the same.

I liked the Impact Comics version but I'm not 14 anymore and Liefeld's artwork and his storytelling doesn't appeal to me anymore so I'll pass.
