Phillipus was one of the strongest recurring, supporting characters to ever appear in Wonder Woman right behind Steve Trevor and Etta Candy. DC's decision to leave her out of the current series borders on travesty. But then, I should be glad too I guess because she most likely wouldn't be anything like her previous self. Miss her character a great deal.

Phillipus is awesome. I very much hope she will return sometime soon.
She was a strong Amazon, she was loyal to Hippolyta, and she demonstrated the kind of wisdom that is sorely lacking in most of the other Amazons.
She's an amazing lady, and she deserves to come back soon.Though much is taken, much abides; and though

She's a badass! I also really liked her relationship with Hippolyta, makes me sad when I found that Gail was planning to marry them off but got taken off the book before she could ={
I think my favourite moment of hers was in George Perez's run when she fought Hippolyta to stop from entering Doom's Doorway, it was INTENSE!
She needs to be used much more, I hope she appears in the Finchs' run!

I'm not sure how I feel about Phillipus and Hippolyta as a couple, honestly.
I'm certainly not opposed to it. But the way Gail was talking about doing it just made it seem more like a stunt than anything else. It just seemed like turning a character gay just for some publicity, the way Gail was talking about doing it.
Now, if writers want to establish that Hippolyta and Phillipus have actually been lovers for a long time, that's one thing. But it just seemed kind of......off to me that Gail wanted to just have Hippolyta and Phillipus just start up a relationship despite having lived together for thousands of years.
Conclusion? They can make a good couple, but I'd like to see it better handled.Though much is taken, much abides; and though

i'm ok with it. If WW can't be gay, at least someone from the main cast has to be. we are talking about amazons, after all. WW already has to many boring heteronormative love stories

I agree! But anyway, WW can be gay , they just choose not to as of now which is terrible IMO. But at least Phillipus and Hippolyta can enjoy being with each other. I'd love to see that and would buy it in a heartbeat! Originally Posted by Blacksun

Agreed. I do love Gal's costume but hate they put it in Sepia and some stars but as long as it's classical colors I would be Happy. I do Hope Dc does a Wonder Woman comics series which is based off of Lynda Carter they did that with Batman. I wonder who should play Phillipus maybe Sonja Sohn? Originally Posted by Vanguard-01

I didn't like how most pre-Crisis amazons like Mala were not used in Perez's version. Best to have new amazons in the New 52 unless they revive amazons from all eras not just the 86-11 era.
