Not that we needed the confirmation but PKJ is openly mocking the claims that Clark will be killed off: https://twitter.com/phillipkjohnson/...174121990?s=21

I'm sure that there are some special few people who will read his tweets as confirmation that Clark is going to die

Of course you'd say that. You're just some shill for DC! This post is all the evidence I need! DC's obviously killing off Clark Kent because the vaccine turned PKJ into an SJW!

    Connect the dots, people!!!

2 more issues left then. Still feeling betrayed by his premature departure.

Having read The Last God one thing I hope we get from the Warworld worldbuilding is songs. I quite enjoyed all the songs & poems PKJ wrote to flesh out TLG’s world.

I think he's said he has all that built out already, it's just a matter of whether it will ever make it into the books. At the very least, some back matter for the collected editions is possible.

Would love to read it, really enjoyed the stories and songs he included at the end of each TLG issue

Man, I gotta check out The Last God, esp with these songs. Sounds Tolkien-esque.

Awesome. Reminds me of the final Bendis issue of Superman that Reis drew...

If you’re a fan of dark fantasy in the vein of The Witcher I definitely recommend it. Feels very fleshed out and he’s clearly put in the thought as to how it all works. Makes me excited to see him apply that mindset to Warworld (also makes me wonder how long we’ll be spending on Warworld?).

I'm so far behind I've largely kept quiet since I have no time to read of late, but I just gotta come out of the woodwork to catcall like a Tex Avery cartoon because-- AWOOGA-- that's some gorgeous artwork!

    Back to silent boomerdom.

How long are we expecting the Warworld saga to last? 6 issues? 12?

I think probably something in the area of 12-18. Something Planet Hulk like. Apparently Taylor and PKJ have discussed preliminary plans for a later crossover between Superman and Action, and PKJ has said Lois will factor into the post-WarWorld arc heavily but won't be present in when Clark's off planet indicates it's not that far off. So the Future State timeline where he's gone for decades isn't likely.
