Sue Dibny. Specifically the circumstances of the crime.

That one stank like month old fish. Sue was one of the most fun characters in comics, and they fridged her in the most despicable of ways.

Nah, Rose had him locked up in a pit, claimed that he had been run over by a train, then at the end of the finale he got out of the pit and went home only to be squashed by a falling piano with the creator then turning to camera and saying winning or something along those lines...

The characters that died in the Transformers move, one of the best soundtracks of all time, were killed off so that the toy company could sell toys of the new characters instead of the old ones...

Good one. On that note, Ellie Walker from the first season of the Andy Griffith show and Andy Taylor's best love interest up to and including the one he married.

I'll go along with the idea that never mentioning a character again counts as killing off the character.

Agreed with Jadzia. And IMO, Trek really died with Data. Sorry for the spoilers.
The movies never happened. "All Good Things" was Data's future as a college professor.

I'm joking, of course. Apparently, they hesitated to kill off Data but Brent Spiner was really pushing for it. Still, they would only do it if they could establish a similar character in case they ever wanted to use Data again, so they gave us B4.

Killing off Jadzia was a BIG mistake and even Berman has admitted it which is saying a lot. They should have just let Terry Ferrell make occasional guest appearances during the last season.

And while I'm at it, I hated that Sally was killed off (off screen) for MCMILLAN AND WIFE that became MCMILLAN, when Susan Saint James didn't want to do another season. With all the cast departures and the show having a completely different tone, they should have just pulled the plug on the series. I prefer to think that final season was in an alternate universe.
I feel that way about the death of Edith Bunker and Mike and Gloria getting divorced. Yeah, the latter was realistic but better to just end it before all of that.

Bobby Martin went upstairs to get his skis and never came back down, on ALL MY CHILDREN, in the first season.

Well, yeah, but I liked the way he got back at the Wolves when he died.

It was nice, but it was Dale’s death. Bob had survived so much.

I think that they only killed him off because the show got cancelled and they had to rush to come up with an ending, otherwise I've heard that had the show continued that Tripp and T'Pol would have become an official couple on the show...

    Jesus.
Although, I've heard the writers left the story open for some kind of sequel.
