Well, the credits list Daniel Logan, the actor from AoTC.

From what I understand, everything except the shot straight into the helmet visor from over Boba's shoulder is unused or retooled footage from Attack of the Clones. As for that shot, any stand in with the right wig on could work.

It looks that they might of used perhaps a different take or unused footage if that's indeed Logan: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NP7X9r19uaA

Some have pointed out Jango's helmet doesn't look quite the same as AOTC in the close up, more similar to Boba's design (There are differences besides the color, although I think Mandalorian clarified that Boba wears the same armor, just modified).

Is it just me or does the theme seem like it's a "full" version of Boba's minimalist ESB tune in a sense? Kind of like the parade ending music in TPM was a sped up Emperor's theme.

"The Anus." Now its impossible for me not to hear Morgan Freeman saying that.

Seems like the Han rumor is picking up speed a bit.

Nice seeing another Wookie be an actual character. Mysterious badass of few words riding shotgun alongside with a Hut - who does that remind me of? When's he (she?) getting a spin-off? (Maybe a Holiday special later this year) This show does seem to be sending Boba on a journey (past and present) into becoming something other than "badass ruthless bounty hunter." I'm sure some people only want to see him as that and kicking ass, but that doesn't seem to be the kind of story Disney wants to tell. I like this series, but yeah - I wouldn't mind a Bounty Hunter series set in the past when he was just that, even if he's not the main character. Cast a younger actor to don the armor voiced by Morrison and Bob's your uncle.

Interesting that Boba looks down on those guys for transporting spice (so weird to see Star Wars use that now rather than it just be an offhand nod to "Dune."), but two seconds later he's tripping on psychedelic brain lizard. I get it - some drugs are fun and mind-expanding, some are bad and a blight on society. Druggy McJudgersons... ;P

The Wookie has been part of Disney's EU since pretty much it's beginning, appearing in the first issue of Marvel's Darth Vader (alongside Boba, no less)-https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Black_Krrsantan

This is his first live-action debut, though. Pretty sure it's also the first time we've seen Hutts in a Disney live-action production as well. I'm not 100% sure but I think this is the first time we've seen unmasked Pykes, and a live action Disney-produced Ithorian, unless you count the animatronic one at Galaxy's edge or the Ithorian-like alien at Maz's castle: https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Ottegan

Also the couple in the bar is presumably meant to be Luke's friends Camie and Fixer from the Star Wars Anchorhead deleted scenes....and the place? Tosche station!

I wanted to watch Star Wars: Boba Fett. Instead I get Star Wars: Dances With Wolves. I don't care about the Tusken. Just hurry up and do the Tusken chick face reveal right before the brutal attack on the Tusken that Boba Fett is the lone survivor of.

The wreck of something that Boba forges his Gaffi stick under is based on old Mcquarrie art (second picture at this link): https://www.starwars.com/news/tusken...esert-dwellers

No, thanks. The world building among the Tuskens is some of the stuff I'm most excited for.

This show has been absolutely fantastic so far. The slow build is going to piss people off, but it's absolutely the right creative decision so far. Seeing the changes in Boba since he crawled out of the Sarlacc has been interesting and the tension between the man he seems to have been and the man he seems to want to become is both great drama and really good, thematic Star Wars.

I loved seeing Black Krrsantan in live action! And the plot with the Tuskans has been great so far and I imagine it will have a lot to do with how Fett eventually truly gains control of Tatoine.

Dances with Bantha Boba seems less interested in stopping the Spice Trade and more interested in making sure the Tuskens get a cut of it.

This is an interesting angle to take this show.

Disney must have decided that once you've seen one dude in a helmet take bounty missions you've seen them all and they already have The Mandalorian for that, so The Book of Boba Fett has to do something else. Two something elses in fact.

I'm finding the Tusken Raider stuff more interesting than the Tattooine crime boss stuff so far.

Yeah, I can't imagine he and Fenec being a crime empire with just two guards. He needs bodies on his side. I can see Boba relinquishing some power to the Tuskens as a way for them to reclaim their lands. I don't think they'll be wiped out, though I do forsee a tragic end for that kid. I imagine Boba will have learned a lesson from the Tuskens that enables him to gain power, then he teaches the Tuskens how to manage a life with the outworlders. (maybe Cobb will even help with that...?)

I like how Jennifer Beals' character called him "Mr Fett" instead of "Lord Fett" when he came back. She knows which way the wind blows. (speaking of wind, when Boba and Fenec were surrounded by the Night Winds last ep, why didn't Boba just jetback over their shields? Oh well...)
