If Louise Simonson is still active, I'd suggest her.
People recommended Mariko Tamaki but she's 1 out of 3 for me; Supergirl: Being Super was passable but her She-Hulk and X-23 weren't that good. I also saw some complaining about her WW and I've never seen her write any male heroes.
"Cable was right!"
Okay, bunch of deletions and edits today.
The discussion is 'which female writer would you like to see write Superman,' not 'why are there so few female writers in comics' or 'what's the difference between the writings of men versus women.'
Let's stick to the topic, please.
My comments were criticizing him for literally staying off topic. But fine, I guess I understand that I was fuelling it too.
I only read Green Lantern Earth One, and while it was cool, I didn't feel like she had particularly strong characterizations. I couldn't really describe the specific personalities of each character. It's something Superman really needs.
So... Jen Bartel posted a Superman sketch on her twitter page.

Someone also asks if she's going to be working on Superman (no reply though). Regardless, she's clearly a fan. More please!
“Look, you can’t put the Superman #77s with the #200s. They haven’t even discovered Red Kryptonite yet. And you can’t put the #98s with the #300s, Lori Lemaris hasn’t even been introduced.” — Sam
“Where the hell are you from? Krypton?” — Edgar Frog
