"fuse lit more than thirty years ago"

For those keeping track, issue is coming out in 2021, so thirty years ago is 1991.

"More than thirty years ago"... could mean anything between 1987 (year of the marriage) and 1991.

    Thoughts:

    - We have enough issues to warrant Venom #200? Wow.

    - See, Spidey is getting a King in Black tie-in! Although with Jed McKay writing it, I wonder if Felicia will turn up?

    - It'll be a missed opportunity if EmJay is in 616 and doesn't find out how much more popular her 616 version is.

    - Silk is now a mini? Well, until it isn't, like some other Marvel books. I guess the writer was probably writing for the first arc to trade anyways.

    - Miles vs. Ms. Marvel continues.

    - A new job and costume? I'm not sure if Spencer can come up with some compelling new career but I'm really curious about the new costume. Will it be that big a change or will it be like the Parker Industries suit?

    - 30 issues go...I dunno, Chameleon? Sinister Syndicate? It's been so long that I've forgotten what happened 30 issues ago.

    - Looks like we're back on-track with the planned Lilly vs. Black Cat storyline.

Felicia looks good. As for the new job and new costume for Peter? It is meh for me. Seen it all before. I still think the best job was Horizon Labs and the best new suit was the black one.

30 issues ago was around Absolute Carnage/2099 arc. Maybe follow up on the predictive algorithm?

It's just hard to get invested in a new job for Peter at this point.

I'm half-tempted to think the new suit will be the Far From Home costume or at least resemble one of his MCU suits.

Doubt it would be mcu related would have been done already as for a new job it's kinda sad that at this point of his history it's being treated like a major event

    D'oh.

    I misread 30 issues as 30 years.

More fool me. Thank you both for correcting me.

Well ASM #61 means that 30 issues is ASM#31. That's the Absolute Carnage tie-ins. Before that is ASM#29 where MJ leaves to LA. And right before that is I think the Boomerang 2-parter where Peter finds out Randy is dating Janice.

So I think that's what it refers to.

I’m looking forward to the new job, new suit, and big developments in Peter/MJ’s relationship! I just hope these are positive developments lol... if it’s something like Peter and MJ breaking up or Peter going back to working as a photographer, I won’t be too happy haha
