It's the best version of the Golden Age Superman I've read. I lost my copy years ago and haven't been able to replace it since

the dominus effect since that storyline covers 4 different eras and 4 different supermen - the golden age , the silver age, the bronze age and 2999 but just have the change the ending.

very good. I hope this happens. I'm less hung up on origin-story cartoon adaptations unless it's part of an ongoing series. That said, I predict that Frank Miller and John Romita's Year One mini series will probably get adapted.

Morrison New 52 is the one I want to see the most overall I think.

If Bruce Timm ended up directing that film, I'm guessing it'd be the first time he made intentional changes to aspects of a Frank Miller script.

Not a specific story per se but a couple years ago I saw the anniversary re-release of Superman the Movie on the big screen. It was preceded by a Fleischer cartoon (foiling a plot where robots robbed a bank or course!), which was awesome to see in the theater. Would be cool to see that type of thing before TV episodes or movies.

I must add my voice to the chorus for Superman Smashes the Klan getting adapted. With the art style faithfully replicated!

I think the Sand-Superman Saga from the 70's could be a neat story to adapt, with some streamlining. The idea of all kryptonite on earth being destroyed, but Superman losing some of his power and having to face off with a sentient sand-based doppelganger is an interesting premise to start with.

I'd love to see some version of Superman's Return to Krypton. Its an idea that, surprisingly, has never really been explored, to my knowledge, in any significant media adaptation (to be fair, I haven't watched much Smallville so I think there's a possibility it had a similar story). But it'd be interesting to see Superman go back in time to Krypton before its destruction and interact with Jor-El and Lara in person.

I checked my library of the current Superman stories that received the animated treatment.

    Doomsday
Death of Superman and Reign of the Supermen
    Superman/Batman Public Enemies
    Superman/Batman Apocalypse/Supergirl From Krypton
    All Star Superman
    vs The Elite/Action Comics #775
    Red Son
    Unchained/Brainiac 2008
Man of Tomorrow - Elements from American Alien and original story

Pretty slim pickings compared to Batman's supersaturated overexposure.

    I would like to see:
Greatest Hero of Them All: Legion of Superheroes
Supergirl Saga - With Steel, Superboy and Eradicator
    Unchained
    Panic In The Sky
    Kingdom Come
Superman Beyond - With Clark, Ultraman, Captain Marvel, Captain Atom and Overman

If PKJ can pull off the Warworld Saga I’d love to see that get adapted. Kind of prefer to see it get adapted as a video game however.

    Superman Smashes the klan

    Emperor Joker

    Superman beyond

Action Comics #761: For a thousand years (Superman and wonder woman fighting demons in Asgard for thousand of years that a movie i would re-watch)
