Superman Smashes The Klan seems like a no brainer.

I know we will never see it and I know it has been roughly done in recent animated movies but I would love to see a live-action true telling of The Death Of Superman. The fight with Doomsday, His Death, Funeral For A Friend, and The return with The 4 other Superman Reign Of The Supermen.

Morrison's Action run. All of it as a two-parter.

I tend to think Bruce Timm or James Tucker could do a decent take on "Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow." And when I say that, I think the adaptation could be straightforward enough that they wouldn't screw it up.

On the one hand, I understand doing more recent movies, but when they pull stories like "Red Son" that are older than a lot of viewers, I do wonder why they can't pull stories that pre-date "Death of Superman." If you don't need a story to sell the current line, why so much recency bias?

    Birthright.

    Secret Identity

Trinity (though not strictly a Superman story)

The Nail (it's more or less a Superman story)

    Superman Smashes the Klan

And, perhaps the weirdest but a good story: Superman/Gen13.

Soule's first arc in Superman/Wonder Woman, they don't even need to make them a couple, just have them as friends

Up in the Sky, but I prefer to see it as a live-action movie.

Any crazy, insane Superman story. Most of the animated Superman movies are pretty tame compared to what we see in the comics.

Remember that Sword of Superman story? How about that one?

Or how about the one where Jimmy Olsen goes to Hell and Superman fights Blaze and destroys Hell?

Come on....I want to see something crazy like that.

I just got Superman Smashes the Klan for Christmas, and having now read it, I can add my voice to the chorus of voices who want to see that adapted. It was really good.

I don't want straight adaption.I would appreciate a movie or series with a specific vision and direction(Ofcourse,i don't want it becoming lynchpin interpretation which the donner superman or byrne superman.Come on guys, superman can better than crystal fortresses and boyscoutish "i don't like vigilantism" ).Something that says something with the character. But,By wb animation?I think i will pass,They resume isn't that impressive.Especially in recent years. They've got what?harley quinn?I would appreciate something of high quality with superman.Superman deserves better in my view.Anyways,It depends on the creative team behind it.
While i love, superman smashes the klan(i mean,it is my superman) it is essentially beating dead horse."Look how great superman was in 1941".

I add my vote for Superman smashes the klan as animated movie . Also, if the production team keeps the Gurihiru style in the animation that can be an added bonus.
On the other side, I would like to see an adaptation of the elseworld Kal.
