Why haku is a girl.

2. She had breasts.
3. She looked like a girl in every way and was voice overed by females in both versions of the anime.
4. She claimed to be a man, which was a lie because she was not old enough to be considered one, and she said this to her enemy which indicates that she lied about herself because Naruto was correct in calling her "lady".
5. The instances where she uses female specific words for self reference in the Japanese version.
6. She chose to dress as a girl even though Zabuza would have wanted a boy to act masculine.
7. She is referred to as Zabuza's consort, which is a title given to wives or mistresses of nobility.
8. Her age, weight, and height all fit the class of the kunoichi, not the male shinobi.
9. She lacks physical combat skills and lost to a boy three years younger than her in terms of physical combat. She makes up for the lack of taijutsu with high powered ninjutsu, which is typical of kunoichi.
10. It is impossible for Haku to have been a boy AND have the facts of the series be consistent concerning her character and others.

It's been awhile but IIRC there's this whole bloated arc about a bridge builder that ultimately goes nowhere and Haku is a character that is one of the villains in that arc and even though he looks very feminine and everybody thinks he's a girl he reveals at the end that he's a boy before completely disappearing from the series and never being thought of or mentioned again.

Well considering Haku and Zabuza both die at the end of the story no **** they wouldn't appear except for that time that they came back as reanimated corpses. And with all the **** the characters involved with arc went through between the two events: chuunin exams, invasion of their village, death of their leader, they have to get and convince Tsunade to become Hokage, Sasuke's trauma coming back, Sasuke defecting, time jump, Gaara (the leader of a neighboring village and friend) kidnapped, the Akatsuki threat, Jiraiya's death, another invasion of their village, Sasuke attacking the leaders of 5 ninja villages, the 4 Great War starting, no **** they wouldn't think about two people that they had a combined encounter time of two hours at the most a lot.
And it makes sense that there wouldn't be a lot of callbacks to the events of the arc since overall it was still when we were being introduced to the characters and worldbuilding how the world of shinobi works. Since the location of the arc is in another country it also makes sense that it wouldn't be referenced a lot, and all of the major plot threads were tied up so no big need to go back.
You know you could've gone to the Naruto wikia to look up the details if you really needed a refresher on the details

I mean those details really do more to add to my point rather than detract from them. It's a character with little to no impact on the plot why does his gender lead to a 10 point list over a decade later? That's what doesn't make sense.

I'm also not entirely clear as to why we had to spend 30+ chapters of the manga on it considering it never mattered to anything later, but that's not really what this thread is about

He's just a dude who has long hair and wears Yakuta, which isn't that weird considering Naruto's world is inspired from the Sengoku Period
