Early 90s and 2000s.
The mid '70s to the mid '80s.
Beginning with Archie Goodwin as EIC and ending with Secret Wars II.
I'm of the idea that no matter the decade, there's some good stuff for me to read, but my favorite Marvel era is definitely the 80s. I think it had the perfect balance between superhero suspension of belief and social commentary. Some of my favorite runs on ongoing titles are from this decade:
Walter Simonson's Thor (with Sal Buscema later on)
Roger Stern and Romita Jr's ASM
Frank Miller's Daredevil (with Klaus Janson later on)
Chris Claremont still writing Uncanny X-Men
Marvel Graphic Novels (God Loves Man Kills, Death of Captain Marvel)

"The Batman is Gotham City. I will watch him. Study him. And when I know him and why he does not kill, I will know this city. And then Gotham will be MINE!"-BANE
"We're monsters, buddy. Plain and simple. I don't dress it up with fancy names like mutant or post-human; men were born crueler than Apes and we were born crueler than men. It's just the natural order of things"-ULTIMATE SABRETOOTH
Mid 70s to mid 90s for me. Whenever this thread pops up, I notice there are few that say the 2000+ is their favorite.
Probably the early 2000’s to maybe 2012. There was the launch of the Ultimate line which I was all over. My two favorite writers, Bendis & Straczynski were everywhere it seemed. The JMS Spider-man is the definitive run to me. Bendis was good and could do any wrong. That’s pretty much my golden age. I’ve glanced at some older stuff but I can’t do silver age or anything pre-90’s. I’ve looked at the Miller Daredevil and that looks worth reading at some point.
