Who should be the new members on the Quiet Council ?

After Way of X #3, I want Stacy-X on the council. She saw a need and she fulfilled it. She didn't ask for permission, she just went for it. Stacy X is truly looking out for the people of Krakoa.

What's going to happen with Storm's place on the council now? Will Magneto be asked to step down for his trial? Will Mystique still be a member in three or four months? What will Nightcrawler do after he finds the way?

There could be any number of council seats up for grabs in the not too distant future. In my opinion it probably needs a good shake up now anyway. I think it was probably good as a kind of holding pattern while Krakoa became established, but parts of it have outlived their usefulness, or moved on to bigger and better things.

The council has never represented everyone anyway, so maybe a much more representative government will be put in place soon somehow.

I like this one! The only one I'm unsure about is Colossus, since he's never really shown much interest in teaching or leading.

Well i'll be damn seeing the list like this made me realize the council setting is just a organization of when certain characters stories would hit the shelves. Way of X, Summer, Storm role, summer, Jean in Xmen, Summer, X of swords was the fall, Xavier and Magneto going down in the fall and Mystique reprecussions should hit in winter with Exodus probably having something to say on wanda situation after the trial. Kitty died in the spring. LMAO

Look if Storm & Jean are out I really feel Bobby should be considered he's got seniority & of the O5 he's the most well adjusted & consistently has kept his **** together for years apocalypse seed induced midlife crisis aside.

I get that people like the character of Selene, but she has never been a leader, most mutants don't trust her, and she doesn't have anything the Council needs (like Sinister). And I like Betsy, but she can barely handle her duties as Captain Britain, she doesn't need a Council seat.

There’s why they tried to negotiate a seat with Namor.
But they need leaders as well.

So far Charles and Erik have tried to give Apocalypse’s seat to Cyclops and Namor. Both refused.
They tried to give Jean her seat back, but she refused as well.

So which mutants have had an impact on par with Apocalypse, Jean, Scott, and Namor?

Apocalypse has been a leader of mutants for millennia. Mystique was a leader of the Brotherhood and Freedom Force, and although her methods are extreme she has almost always fought for mutants, and she raided Damage Control to obtain the plans for the Orchis Station and was conducting stealth operations on the station for Magneto and Xavier. It was also meant to appease and distract her from wanting Destiny resurrected.

nothing really, but they were people that would cause more trouble if left out of the power structure. selene has a similar issue i suppose, x corp kinda referenced the captain america book but didnt go into much detail about it. that could be taken into consideration when picking.

Which Externals are still alive besides Selene? I know Apocalypse sacrificed a bunch to open the gate in Excalibur.
