I had no idea! I'll have to look for that TPB, even though I've never read any Madame Xanadu. How much "screen time" do Wes and Dian get, and how is the story, overall? Sandman Mystery Theatre is an all-time Top Ten comic for me, though.

It's been a little while since I read it, but I believe Dian gets involved much earlier in the story while Wes puts in his appearance towards the end.

Question for those who have read through Mystery Theatre: I just finished the Hourman arc (#32), and that story ends on New Year's Day 1939. When does the series start, and does it ever get to World War 2 (or at least Pearl Harbor)?
    Pull List:
    - Action Comics
    - Moon Knight

Unfortunately, I only read to issue #52, and as far as I know they never collected the issues after that in tpb volumes.

Not sure how far that series went in terms of calendar dates, but in the regular DC Comics world Sandman would have ditched the gas mask just prior to Pearl Harbor.

The series begins in 1938 and ends in 1940.

So at least a year into World War II.
