Bad is an understatement. As if Greg Land wasn't controversial enough.

I'm sure the writer will do ok, but the art might undermine that initially. Not thrilled about it being an event tie-in, though. That basically killed any interest I might have had in the book.

I don't know why that would kill your interest though, as long as it's good. Punisher: War Journal launched from Civil War and that was a damn fine book.

It hurts my heart to know that this is the quite possibly the last publication year that Marvel will print $2.99 comics.

My pull list for Marvel would probably be twice than what it is above if Marvel had more $2.99 books and printed their books on quality paper.

Looking at that Avengers World cover, it's always sad that the team of "leftovers" they throw together for these storylines are usually one I'd much rather read about than whatever's in the main book. Captain America/Iron Man/Thor? Meh. Stingray/Valkyrie/3D-Man? Sign me up!

And a WWI-era Martian invasion story featuring Union Jack, Phantom Eagle, and the Orson Randall Iron Fist?! Dear god I love James Robinson.

I dropped TASM, UXM, GOTG and since T-BOLTS and Wolverine are ending I managed to add some DC titles I liked. Question(s) though: Do you think Wolverine will be relaunched with Daken? And, do you think that the new Remender Avengers title will feature inverted villains for the most part? I have to say, an all villain team acting as a hero team has the potential to be great! Imagine Hobgoblin, Doom, Carnage and Sabertooth in the same book!
