Hm. Three Superman books and he’s working on a preliminary piece for something involving Superman. Maybe he’s working on that Tom King Supermythos project? Or doing a Blue & Red story.

I was thinking something with the Justice League, considering he's got Superman, Aquaman, Black Canary, and Green Arrow in there.

He said some were just for entertainment though, so I was looking at how many characters get how many books. Superman has three which made me think those specifically were for research. Could be reading too much into this lol.

Also no way can Doc do a team book. He and Gerads were only doing half the normal pages of a regular ongoing each on Strange Adventures, and they still couldn’t get the book done in time for it to keep its monthly schedule. Shaner is a fantastic artist but he simply can’t keep up with the monthly grind.

Looks like Bermejo is doing a The Batman tie-in book with the scriptwriter of The Batman? Since the movie is sort of a Year 2 Batman, maybe this will explore his origins?

It doesn't have to be a monthly. He can do 4-6 issues arc for JL down the line.

I still don’t think he could get even that done on time, like how Jim Cheung couldn’t keep up on JL.

No we know they've working together on a book, that's been in Tynion's newsletter, the question is whether it's a DC book or not since Bueno tweeted a while back that he was working on a DC project but Tynion referred to Project Lakehouse as a creator owned book.

Alvaro is a DC exclusive artist going by his bio on both twitter and insta, but besides that he's implied it's a DC project in reply to one of his older instagram posts. Hopefully it's announced monday so the speculation can end though.
