That's disappointing. I like Zdarsky, but I'm not sure we need what looks like another grim AU about the JL's demise.
And it will probably come in the terrible cropped Digital First format.
Pretty the single issues are digital. However a final trade is something that ended up in stores.
Dark Horse has one coming out in April. However that book in question was released digital in May 2020 for 4 issues.
Milestone did all that talking as if this stuff was coming this month. We are in WEEK 2. Even if they don't announce it-shouldn't those book still be listed on comixology? If there is a trade where is that listing as we have seen trade listed WAY in advance before.
Never read anything by Zdarsky but most modern Justice League stuff is usually unremarkable at best for the most part and usually does an active disservice to characters on it that I actually like, so I'd have to hear some truly great things before I'd read this.
Good work, DC.
Zdarsky's new gig sounds like a waste of talent now.
For some reason I always skip Justice League. Wonder why.
Unlike a lot of folks here that are understandably nonplussed by DC's post-March stuff, I'm looking forward to a lot of it. But as of today, of all the post-March stuff, I'm most excited of all about this one.
Give me more Tom King 12-issue series' because they're my favorite things happening in DC superhero comics today and give me an honest-to-goodness JSA but, unless/until those things happen, give me Zdarsky's JL.
Williamson is doing a word baloon podcast right now: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8BqPoO-oHg
-There are already plans in the work for alan scott and his family beyond the infinite frontier one shot
-There is more to titans academy than what DC has revealed so far that Williamson is suprised hasn't been talked about yet
-Another book will be announced soon that ties into titans academy (could this possibly be shazam?)
- There are more women led/poc titles coming for infinite frontier
-Williamson is the one who pitched Talia being part of the totality, she will have a bigger role to play in the 2nd arc of Robin and also a unannounced title
-More smaller events like endless winter and jl vs suicide squad are in the works

If Titans Acedemy is like Avengers Initiative it could be a fun ride.
Is it Endless Summer and JSA vs Suicide Squad?
I'm almost certain Clayton Henry's book is Shazam.
You know you joke but given some past history on checkmate and the fact that Conner Kent is going to be on the Suicide Squad, I would at least read a JSA vs Suicide Squad book.
I could totally see Alan Scott flying in and being all “Conner Kent! I’m going to give you five seconds to explain yourself”
