I'm extremely excited for this book to drop! Easton seems to be very much leaning into societal themes and conflicts, so I'm curious to see how well they'll play off that with a character like Mister Miracle.

Yeah I’m personally preferring this art over what we got in future state, I know next to nothing about Shilo but I’ll be happy to read about an interesting legacy hero (that’s kind of my favorite thing with dc comics).

Looks cool. The art is amazing, Easton seems to be touching on some poignant stuff, and he knows his comics .

I get where he's coming from at a legacy standpoint even if I think it's an uphill battle trying to make Shilo a main Mister Miracle instead of Scott Free.

If you want to get technical, GA is a lead character in both Checkmate and Justice League, even if it's not a solo.

But yeah, it's kind of noticeable.

I mean some of those I take off just because I see some as their own characters even if they are bat-family members, so Robin, Nightwing, Harley, and Catwoman, but even if I argue for that 19 isn't that much less. DC seriously needs to put out some other characters when some of these bat minis end.

Hey if they sell they sell! But I can’t look at that and look at how there are mainline Leaguers who can’t get an ongoing and say DC is in a good place. Will say this though: If this doesn’t cause Batfatigue on the same level as Wolverine experienced at the start of the 2010s, nothing will. So might as well fleece the Batfandom for every cent while you can.

Well when we see it will be Robin who win the DC Round Robin, you can see the public it's not fatigue by the Bat-titles or Bat-relateds titles. If the Public ask more Bat-titles ... why the editor will stop to propose more ? It's litteraly the demands of the majority.

Yep I agree. I just don’t think that the general audience’s lack of interest in the DCU outside of Gotham is a healthy sign for DC. Especially when you compare with how widely popular Marvel is as a whole. To me it’s a sign that DC has completely botched their job as caretakers of these characters.
