I liked his previous costume more. I don't particularly enjoy Deathstroke being in this.

My New Year's Resolution was no more Bat books... but that Melnikov art is too tempting. I do wish this creative team was on something else but this is going to be hard to resist.

My immediate thought seeing the costume for some reason was Joker and Harley especially when I thought some of the characters in the background were clown-esque but they aren't.

And this part of the solicit: "Now that Damian Wayne has severed his ties to both Batman and the Teen Titans..."

It's like he gave up the Robin name and now he's Robin again ...doesn't seem like he's severing his ties to Batman at all; if you're gonna go on that premise go all the way or don't do it at all.

Also please don't ruin Rose or Deathstroke, other people writing them has irritated me b/c they've become very one note caricature-y outside of Priest's hands.

he won't get an ongoing, his books don't sell well. Thats what matters at DC now.

Yet we get Checkmate, Damian book and Teen Academy.

How long did Checkmante last the last time?

Green Arrow can at least boast a longer than 33 issue run. As can JSA, Supergirl, Superboy and others.

So if sales is what matters where are they at?

And to be honest those comic book sales are NOT going to eat way at the 150 billion debt AT&T has.

DC was not caring about sales when they SCREWED over so many characters like Wally who sold. When faboys ran the place.
