That actually makes it seem like it is happening, just not with Hitch. He just says he couldn’t make it happen on his end. Can always get another artist. Of course it wouldn’t be out of character for DC to just drop the team again because one creator couldn’t find the time (looking at you Johns).

I would tend to think it's more likely a case of "not happening at present" since I don't know if any mention has been made anywhere as to who might replace Hitch on art.

That Stargirl series, he’s the only one who writes her. Assuming that happens of course. Otherwise nothing.

Yeah his exact words were, “Not with me” it didn’t deny or confirm anything about a JSA book. All he said was he’s too busy to be part of that, probably his work Venom.

It wasn’t really a tease as the intention was to do it. Just couldn’t get it over the finish line on my end.

The "on his end" part does sound like it adds credence to him having choose whether he would do JSA or something else(Venom) and for whatever reason he chose that over the JSA. Hopefully they already have somebody else willing able to do JSA. And we get an announcement before the next round of solicits.

At least we're getting some JSA action this week in IF#4. At the very least there's an appearance of progress being made. But the sooner we get an announcement the better.

Well, those are rather pessimistic and cynical ways of veiwing the situation. I guess I can't exactly fault you you for thinking this way given how this feet dragging has been going on with the JSA. I myself was getting quite frustrated and angry with the situation earlier this year but right now the Stargirl special and Infinite Frontier have earned a reprieve in restoring my patience, for now at least.
