Yes, Taylor wrote Constantine as “Le epic magic Batman XD” who did everything to protect his black Taylor created OC daughter. If you want to know why that very concept is idiotic go read Spurrier’s Hellblazer and see how he handled John having a black kid. Spurrier remembered that Constantine is above all else, about self-preservation no matter the cost.

Self preservation or not, Batman of Magic is how Constantine is written 95% of the time, but unlike Batman he does not bring in the sales so its baffling why DC is ok with him taking over every book he is in.

I was just thinking to myself the other day, you know what DC hasn't done in a long time? An Elseworld maxi or mini where some calamity befalls the Earth and the heroes have to deal with the new normal. And there will be death and stuff. And since he hasn't ever written one before, get Tom Taylor to write it. And here it is!
