It is perhaps around this time that some of those within might have noticed that, much like George's intense concentration, the two had been holding hands since this ride began. His right hand now free, Flors turned to the back of the vehicle and forced open the emergency door, setting off the shrill alarm and allowing the smoke and gas to billow out the back of the bus.

"Heyo, Toby! The ****'s the hold up?!" Flors called out.

"Amateurs." Toby said to himself, "You can't just rush an artist while they are in the middle of their work... but..." Glancing to his side-mirror, he noticed the state troopers had joined the local police, "... I suppose time is of the essence."

"All right, boys and girls!" He called out through the intercom, "You've just bout hit the end of the road, but as a parting gift, I'll give ya a view to die for!"

The bus suddenly lurched once more, this time all the gravity heading towards the rear and yet there would be no major impact. The jostle of the shocks informed them that they had found solid grounding again, yet it was as if they were driving vertically up into the sky. A casual glance would show that they were right, as Toby was defying the laws of physics and was barreling vertically up a building.
Vivian lit another cigarette. If there was any question about whether or not she was gonna die by the age of ??? before, there surely wasn't now. Then she noticed they were driving vertically.

    "Neat."

Rolling up her sleeves, the Witch sighed. "Not neat enough to stop me from turning you into a spider." She had what, enough gas for maybe one more fit of witchery? Would be one for the ages... or something. Kid had jammed his gun in the waistband of his pants. Kinda dumb really; especially when there was a Witch that could snap her fingers and set **** on fire.

Which is exactly what she tried to do... to the gunpowder in one of the handgun's bullets.
Yeah, but if you... man, we're getting into weird analogy territory, like if you disintegrated Superman's arms he wouldn't be able to go "fool! Little did you know that my arms and I are one and can be remade from me!" and will his arms back into being from pure nothingness. - Pendaran

OOC: Bold of you to assume that George and Flors aren't buckled up.

But yeah, aside from them due to the Florida Georgia Line, gravity is kinda trying to yeet everyone straight into the force-field.

"WHAT THE **** IS GOING ON?!?!"

Sandra had to be dreaming. She had to be. She had too much to drink and passed out on the bus. Everything that has happened ever since Toby came on to the intercom was a booze-induced dream.

    Please.

    Please let her be dreaming.

She gritted her teeth as she held onto a seatback for dear life, the blade stabbed into the cushioning for extra support. Behind her... or under her or whatever, the emergency door had been opened. The view it revealed was one going straight down. If she or anyone else lost their gripped, it was going to be a long fall to the ground.

    WHY? she begged to herself.

As she spoke, she moved up to the locked door that led to the driver's cab. While trying to hold on with one hand, she used the other, as well as doing a visual inspection, of the door. Thinking back to the other's attempts to use gas and fire, she hoped that there might be a crack or spacing along the edges. If so, maybe they could pry it open or inject some kind of gas or something between the spaces that might knock Toby out.

There was barely enough warning for Jinny to grab hold of a seat, her feet losing their grip on the floor, the rush of air emphasizing the risk of imminent free-fall. Managing to glance over at Jamie and Debra, they were both still buckled in their seats.

Closing her eyes, she held on tight, thought of her mother, and silently prayed.

Boris grabs his seat and uses his strength to hold on with a vice-like grip." Tse deshcho Zona sutinkiv fihnya," Boris shouted.

As the bus defied gravity and drove up the side of a building, Jamie found herself strangely... calm regarding everything going on at the moment. "We were obviously drugged at some point. That's what's going on here. They secretly gave us some kind of powerful hallucinogen and we're all experiencing a collective hallucination." Jamie said in an attempt to rationalize the situation.
Critics who treat adult as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence.

The clinking of the last few champagne flutes hanging inverted atop the bar sounded a din rather sharply, prompting Suzie to lift her bushy head up. Glassy pebbles began to rain down her back and neck, and the first thing she saw was chunks of wood and glass crawling toward her on the floor.

Helplessly she grabbed her luggage in a futile bid for cover. Too late to do any good as gravity seemed to dispatch itself entirely.

First she felt her feet lift off, then she fell backward. Her back hit the wall hard, an a hard gasp escaped Suzie. Her face was stupefied as she rolled off the edge, and toppled into freefall down the aisle, clutching the edges of her roller case as she went straight back down where she'd run from earlier followed by a shower of glass, liquor, and jagged wood veneer.

As Suzie began to fell, time seemed to slow for her for she could see the beauty of the August sun glistening through the shards of glass that filled the air. Was this perhaps one of those "life flashes before one's eyes" type of deal?

Maybe, but the grim reaper sure looked different than how folklore described it.

Impassively, the creature watched her descent. Not out of apathy no indifference; no, Suzie would feel a strong hunch that it was waiting on her.

All she had to do was call its name.

By doing this, the Florida Georgia Line seemingly vanished as items once blocked by the field were sent hurling out the back of the open emergency exit... people included.

The sound of a man who'd neutered himself. Vivian would have been proud, were she not in the process of being yeeted from the vehicle. Ah well, one had to take the good with the bad... and Vivian? Well...

Impassively, the creature watched her descent. Not out of apathy no indifference; no, Suzie would feel a strong hunch that it was waiting on her.

All she had to do was call its name.

The glass descended, a cruel rain of ill intent, and for a long moment, she found a morbid beauty in the way their edges split the sunlight. Her mind was reeling sick, her heartbeat deepening as, with her last breath, it sent her thoughts reeling.

So, this is how it ends, then...

Fragments of the last week flickered before her eyes, Suzie staring impassively ahead as her mind went blank. Scattered, split in pieces

Entirely beside herself, it was as if she could fall through the world, a new sensation spreading rather sharfly from the base of her skull she couldn't quite describe.

    ...I don't want to die...

And she could feel it's dark shape before her. The shadow that had followed her from the last days of the Fever, and stalked her all the long day towards the Joestar Estate, till this moment.

    Let me live---!!!

    A 「Jigsaw Feeling」

    JYA-SHAAA--!!!

The Spirit let out its hideous cry as with a swipe of its over-long arms, it struck at the bus wall.

This evil thing! It had a mind to make me disappear~!

No...that wasn't it, she realized. It seemed to be acting according to her thoughts; more than anything, she'd wanted to stop falling, and she'd soon found herself hastily propped on a seatrest . From the bus's incline, the gas vapours and burning smoke began to billow upward, and as Suzie pulled herself upright with a shudder as she looked upon George and Flors.

    Oh God.

The Evil Spirit. It suspended itself in the ether, as if it decided to 「Stand」 beside her.

The tear gas that had been loosed, it was affecting her ability to breathe, but before she could so much as cover her face, the creature spread its wide maw and greedily snapped at the air, and suddenly it was just a little more tolerable.*

    OOC: Tear Gas acquired.*
