Grell's Warlord...
Dr. Fate cover by Kubert, interiors by Walt Simonson, another of my favorite standalone DC stories...
and speaking of Simonson, along with Archie Goodwin, one of the best serialized stories DC has ever done...

I'm definetly adding a lot of those to my want list. Keep them coming!
Origin of X'Hal by the hands of the Psions.
This one could be an epic WW movie if you replace Donna with Diana
Technically a Quality--but Doll Man is a D.C. now--this one has Reed Crandall art--
I have this Canadian Edition of BATMAN 56--featuring one of my favourite Dick Sprang stories--
And DETECTIVE COMICS 211--has another great Dick Sprang illoed story inside--
The '90s were disliked by many, but there were some interesting stuff going on...
The Loeb/Sale Halloween Specials of Legends of the Dark Knight were a real treat (IMHO):
Three more of my most favourite comics in my collection--
DETECTIVE COMICS 361
JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA 94
SUPERMAN 284
The two-volume collection of the comic that started it all for me.
And the two volumes that managed to bring my favorites from that prior series, to current DC Continuity.

The Good Night Gotham was the climax of Lobdell's run and honestly was the peak of the run's storytelling too. I was already a Red Hood fan but I think this particular story arc was what really defined the character and the totality of his mythos for me. I'm not gonna justify all of my picks, but this one just compelled me.
