Default Batman: Hush 20th Anniversary Edition

Batman: Hush 20th Anniversary Edition Hardcover to Include Brand New Story
Batman: Hush 20th Anniversary Edition reunites original writer Jeph Loeb and artist Jim Lee for a 5-page story set after the events of 2003's Batman #619.
DC also provided a brief but intriguing summary for this new story:

Ever wondered exactly what happened after Batman: Hush ended 20 years ago? This 20th Anniversary Edition provides the first clues to Hush’s fate on that dark night. An all-new story from the original creative team of Jeph Loeb, Jim Lee, Scott Williams, Alex Sinclair, and Richard Starkings!

Does 5 pages really qualify as a "brand new story"?

And how many panels are we getting per a page with those five pages?

...Don't we already know what happened to Hush after the story?

I don't see why not. Many of anthologies that DC publishes has 6-8 pages long stories.

An eight page story is nearly (but, yes, not exactly) twice as long as a five page story.
In the old days, eight page back-up stories were very common.

But if you've got Jim Lee doing the art, how many panels are you going to have per a page for a five page "story"? Would it maybe be more like all splash pages with lovely visuals but minimal actual story content?

My take is that sometimes I accept (as canon or headcanon) these edits or additions, sometimes not. I accepted the "added back in" deleted scenes pages they added back to L.Halloween (I think such pages are in all releases now).

I will give this "brand new story" a shot. I'm at least glad that I did not custom bind the Hush era yet, so I can decide for myself what I want to do.

Things I love: Batman, Superman, AEW, old films, Lovecraft

Grant Morrison: “Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.”

Shhh, no one talks about Hush Returns. It's bad.

I fully expect this to turn into the 21st anniversary edition if he hasn't already finished the art!

I already have various editions of Hush plus the 15th Anniversary book, does it justify to plop $40-50 dollars?
