    Default Doomsday Clock:re:View

This is the longest video they have ever done. Which is really saying something! lol

It's a good review of the entire story since-like others-I lost some interest due to delays and had forgotten certain points.

"You see what you want to see." Well,I do not see this as a sequel to Watchmen. Nor do I think anyone should ever attempt one. That being said, this is an interesting, well drawn story with some good moments. And I enjoyed it for some of the same reasons as Sal,Ethan and Ben. Including the idea of the Meta-Verse. Didn't Infinite Crisis also say that Superman was always the reason for everything due to him being the first published DC super-hero?

The "Supermen theory" was okay. But not exactly an original idea. (What is though, right?)

Anyway.here's the link. If you enjoy long video reviews:

    Why bother?

My opinion on Doomsday Clock remains unchanged. This series has been utterly pointless.

To be clear, this is an episode of Back Issues, not re:View from Red Letter Media.

That is where I got the idea for the design of the word review but never seriously thought fans of that channel would think they'd be reviewing a comic book.

Presonally I have a very different approach to reading then a lot of the more jaded long time readers on this forum..

I enjoy reading, and my first question I ask myself is did I enjoy reading the story...

For me Doomsday clock was read as a trades, and for me it was enjoyable to read. Id read part 1 long before part 2 was out and since Im not as well read as some of the more prolific readers some of those pesky glaring issues of connectivity and impact on the multiverse were not the primary issues of importants

Its well written, beautifully drawn and requires only a few books as prerequisites before reading..

The second test is do I want to read it again...

    The answer is yes.

Thirdly that larger context impact on its connectivity to the continuity...

This is a problem with people who were reading monthlies and were up to date on what was happening...

This is arguably a really really small group... so if your a trade reader or causal reader the main contention from hardcore readers wont really matter.

I enjoyed Doomsday Clock. Its not earth shattering bit its a worth while read imo.
