No, but I prefer clean-shaven Thor.

Reminds me too much of Aaron's Thor.

Is this also the place to talk about Beta Ray Bills book?

I love the character and his current mini

I’m personally reminded of Ultimate Thor. After seeing him, 616 Thor’s look just didn’t compare.

616 Thor looks so much cooler to me than Ultimate Thor, but to each their own .

Agreed. 616 Thor is BEST Thor (IMHO):

Think so bro. Yeah, the latest Beta Ray Bill mini series is a really great title that isn't getting recognition. First off, it has that beautiful Daniel Warren Johson art, which is just equal parts detail, sketch, and epic all in one. The detail that he gives to things like the interiors of spaceships is truly amazing. The fight scenes are awesome too. Loving that new axe he has. Secondly, it's a really great character study of Bill. Seeing him confront issues related to his appearance, his loneliness, I'm really moved. Bill ha always been this stalwart ally of Thor. But maybe he isn't that stalwart. Maybe he's in just a lot of pain. Really can't wait to see what happens in the last issue.

Just to give you an idea of some of the work Johnson is doing for the Beta Ray Bill series, check this out:

Yeah, the current Beta Ray Bill series from Daniel Warren Johnson is just an absolute delight. I adore his art, and the story his been a blast. I really hope he continues to get all sorts of great Marvel gigs because he really deserves it.

Speaking of, if you've never read his "Murder Falcon" series I cannot recommend that enough. One of my all-time favorite comics.

So defeating Knull, fighting back the Phoenix Force, all of those big moments, were all distant? His conversation with Cap was quiet with a little bit of melancholy. He's happy to see his allies and friends. But how much time does he have with them? That's the question.

A great issue! Looking forward to the rest of the parts of the story.
Yeah I am really loving this run, and the spin on "worthiness" (where Mjolnir is trying to move away from Thor as almost an "it's time for you to grow up" move) is not something I was expecting, but am thoroughly enjoying.

I'm wondering if he'll be the one to take mjolnir with what happened in the last issue of Thor and he was made second in command/master of war earlier in the series.

I'm just going to be real i didn't read read this because on comic book wednesday i tend to have a bit of day wine but hands down this has the best art out of the marvel book today. and there is a surprise at the end with spoilers:
Nick Fury Jr. and NightHawk surviving heros return apparently (which i didn't read.)
end of spoilers But i want to see what becomes of them.
