Um i hope these aren't spoilers i don't think so but a book that took 84 years should not have art like this. imo. bp23.jpg bp23really.jpg A mess imo.

I know right? And it seemed like they actually had some sense about it too. Not pretending that Coates has somehow been behind this boost in power but giving the credit to those who have pushed T'Challa forward and showcased his power and not wanting him to revert back. Raise the threat up to his level and not weaken him to make the threat seem bigger

Added content, variant covers. Man, Marvel REALLY has faith in Coates' "fanbase".

Did notice how many Storm fans were in here after Avengers books releases?

Did you notice how many Storm fans were in here after King in Black issue?

Kinda telling lol. They all go, "I like tchalla too!" and then don't show up until Storm the goddess shows up in the book and does some feats, and then they love the book and love Coates and love tchalla.

T'challa does something without her... crickets .

Exactly, and if the new writer doesn’t feature Storm heavily expect even more crickets from them. Lmao.

Man, if you hated Coates run so far...

Black Panther #23 is right up your alley!

If you were actually excited and waiting months for this... prepare for the story to not really move at all!

This book is everything everyone hated about the run all in one issue. It is so bad, it would be funny if it wasn't so sad.

It has zero redeeming qualities. I don't even like Storm and the back up story about her may have been the best part.

Dude is really about to end a galactic war in one issue and then have some sort of pitiful epilogue for the last issue. This is just bonkers. Why did Marvel hold this garbage back for so long?

I don't usually feel this strongly about this absolute garbage run anymore, but holy moly this was a giant waste of time.

That's what I was thinking. If I was reading it correctly, he even reached back for some Don McGregor hate. Lol

Lets add-Shuri and Okeye ACTED OUT OF CHRARACTER in KIB and not how they have in Coates run.

How DARE Black Panther fans want him to do everything in HIS OWN BOOK. He is not being neglected.

Can someone point out a solo book where the person whose name is on the cover does not do almost everything in his or her book? Supergirl 19 by Vita, Aquaman 12 (1991), an issue Amazing Spider-man and Thor by Priest did it but those issues still had who was the name on the book was the inspiration.

I read this and was in completely disbelief it was this bad.

I expected speech, generic space battle, then some sort of killmonger/tchalla face off splash page thing.

This somehow underwhelmed me when I had no expectations lol

I have a theory. I think Coates actually forgot that he was writing a BP comic book.
