Don't really follow comicbookcast but a variant T'Challa appearing someday isn't an impossibility and this wouldn't be the first time that rumors have gone out suggesting Marvel wants Rege Jean-Page in the role or as an OC. I haven't seen any reports mentioning that Rege was in Atlanta or wherever else they're filming nor have there been any word so far of anyone wearing the habit on set.

I think he's combining rumors. Rege likely isnt an option cause he signed up for another big project.

A variant is T’Challas last hope in live action. And Gamora pretty much proved that you can lay a character to rest while continuing their story via variant. But Rege Jean Page? Nope. Coogler is not going to allow a light skin T’Challa. But I find it interesting that CBC and New Rockstars tried to talk down on the #RecastTChalla movement at first but now they’re both trying to backpedal via the variant talk. Guys it’s ok. Just say you changed your mind. Lol.

Well this episode showed how dangerous of a villain Killmonger truly is. But what pissed me off was how T’Challa was disposed of and it was probably an intentional preview of what’s to come in BP2. Because now T’Challa is probably gonna be the first MCU hero that will have died a grand total of four times. Bast damn you Marvel.
