Ellis was a cool action mini but I think MK peaked with Hustons run. It had just enough mental illness, just enough superhero crap, just enough Khonshu without being overbearing.

And yeah... they made him too nuts at times. I just need him just nuts enough where other heroes look ta him and go, "dude... dude... " lol

July solicitations are out and still no Black Panther. Really makes me wonder what in the hell is Marvel and the Mouse waiting on?

February 2022 is my official guess now. Black History Month, same year movie supposedly comes out, time to hype up the new writer during the fall/winter, gives writers like Aaron more space to use the character in books like Avengers, let’s the character rest a bit after what’s sure to be a disappointing end to the Coates era.

I know Redjack said a team was already chosen but maybe they went back to the drawing board or simply need more time to formulate the run. I could easily be wrong but nowadays I think it’s better to prepare for disappointment when it comes to Marvel’s handling of Black Panther.

Makes sense. I hate that it’s taking so long. They better not be holding onto Coates last issue until they’re ready to announce a new team, it’s annoying that they haven’t wrapped up his run already and keep pushing the final issue release date back.
