There's chase scenes in a lot of MCU films. I know there's one in every Captain America.

But mantle change? I've must have missed that detail. Where did you hear that? So there's going to be a new BP who strips the title from the replacement BP?

Eh I'm talking about in regards to whoever is taking over for T'Challa. There's gotta be a scene where Shuri, Nakia, new character take the herb and puts on the BP suit.

I think the next film after this one, they should recast T'Challa. Batman. Superman. Spiderman. Never die. Bruce Wayne. Clark Kent. Peter Parker. We cannot fully tie the fictional hero to the real life person.

Black kids deserve to see T'Challa live


This is not to reduce the iconic portrayal of Chadwick. This is to speak of the importance of the character. Are we teaching Black kids they can't ever rest in joy cuz even their favorite LARGER THAN LIFE character can die, when others don't?

If you wanted to explore more of the "wolrd" of wakanda...

making this new chikc a Dora gone bad would world. Basically adopt Nakia/Malice.

It would also put Okoye as more of the star, since she would be the one that would have to deal with her most.

But, this whole "explore" the world of wakanda thing doens't work out if it is truly Namor as the villain. You have to explore Atlantis to some extent, which is going to eat time.

So Atlantis + T'hcalla resolution + new BP resolution alone is going to eat up so much time, that Wakanda is not going to be explored in any depth

This, plus you don't do all this world building and exploration in the movie's. That's what the D+ shows are for, to explore Wakanda. The movie's are about T'Challa dealing with superhero/monarch/ spy ****. Movies don't do well becoming exposition dumps

We meet T'Challa at a very young and impressionable age. He's still figuring out his place in Wakanda as well as Wakanda's place in the world. How that interacts with his sense of duty gives us the major throughline of his journey in this series." The book will begin as the story not of one Wakandan prince, but two, as Black Panther Legends explores the childhood of T'Challa and his adoptive older brother, Hunter. Though Hunter is the eldest, T'Challa is the one destined for the throne, and both must wrestle with their place in a changing world.
From there, the series promises to explore everything from T'Challa's first encounter with Ororo Munroe to the arrival of the Fantastic Four in Wakanda, all building to T'Challa taking his rightful place in the Marvel Universe.
