Games and cartoons are how kids get into superheroes, which is why DC and Marvel should be putting out more of both with a wider variety of characters.

Actually they do that with the books. I know folks scream about $5 for a 24 page comic book but LOL those are the books being sold to kids.

The story of the free War for Wakanda expansion revolves around King T'Challa, the Black Panther, devoted protector and current ruler of Wakanda. Blindsided by a betrayal and the resulting tragedy, T'Challa finds it difficult to entrust his duty to anyone else, even his sister Shuri, while also confronting those who wish to do Wakanda harm. High hopes this turns out well and ends up being the shot in the arm this game needs, and the impetus for Marvel Games as a whole to get serious on a Black Panther game. Failing that, at least give us T'Challa/Black Panther in Marvel Future Revolution to tide us over while we wait for that game.

I heard he summons a panther as one of his main powers and my hype immediately died. Characters only get 3 main powers. One summons a panther, one throws a spear and the last is probably a support power.

Like... That doesn't even make sense for his power set. Like at all. Force push, energy Daggers or spear of bashenga, and a claw attack... This isn't rocket science, this is pretty easy stuff here. Summoning a panther would be so... Lazy.

Edit: I thought there was a leak of his power set and it was like claws daggers and force push though? Maybe someone else can chime in on that one?

That video calmed my fears. I still think calling for an actual panther is dumb and hope that isn't true but at least he's guaranteed to have other powers like the daggers and kinetic blast. And it looks like the main power that uses a spear has a marker and explosion for AOE, thank goodness

The problem is at this point it's nothing but a toxic relationship. That's how it's treated by x office, hell even Coates made it toxic too by having T'Challa taking all the blame for the failure of the marriage and pining for Storm hard. The only benefactor of them being together has been Storm. She got her history fleshed out via Hudlin, a goddess power up under Coates, then the whole mauradurs situation which again was tied to her taking a weapon from Wakanda. What has T'Challa gotten? Nothing really at all.

They can move on T'Challa doesn't need her in his franchise, they can be cordial and talk every so often but let him move on. The ship has sailed, been torched, and sunk to the Mariana trench where it was crushed under the immense pressure

Well Crystal Dynamics seems to be putting a lot of effort into this expansion. We’re just gonna have to wait and see.

Well, I'm currently bitter about MUA3 (fun game beside the BP bullshit) so, we can be debbie downers together lol
