Priest wrote a future story where T’Challa’s own future son T’Charra was a villain.

Nah, comics Killmonger is really a bit overrated. He lacks vision.

Then again, the other candidate for arch-enemy is Klaw... and he's even worse.

    A thought...

If we are to assume Wakanda has had advanced tech pre-T'Challa (I believe that is the commonly accepted position?) then it is possible that there was a former Black Panther who, for example, believed that Wakanda should rule.

He was finally deposed, but they could not kill him for political reasons, so instead he was placed in deep suspended animation, and erased from the histories... the dark secret of the Panther lineage.

Until, centuries later, the descendants of his partisans (the Desturi, perhaps?) stole his body and used the technology that eventually led to the Resurrection Altar to awaken him.

Didn’t need to be /doesn’t need to one or another thing. Great BP has sister/sibling & makes sense form narrative/in world perspective. Instead of O he should of just created a super powered Wakandan or African diaspora (AA, Caribbean, British & etc ) love interest in addition to Shuri, S’Yan & etc.

If we're thinking about an evil T'Challa for BP to go up against, I think all the elements are there for KM to play that role, something the MCU hinted at when they had him literally become an evil version of BP. What he needs more than anything are resources. Competent super-powered underlings (revamped Death Regiments), exotic materials, money, etc. just like the actual T'Challa or characters like Doctor Doom.

KM needs to evolve past being a stateless warlord and be allowed to become a Silver Sable-type figure for the people of Niganda. Have him liberate that nation through revolution and set up a new high-tech military industrial complex that supports his mercenary work abroad. Meanwhile he uses his other resources to expand his black market operations, build alliances with other African nations, and turn his country into a regional power, all in pursuit of world domination.
Excellent ideas. I’d like to see KM take over Niganda & have KMjr & Madame Slay be shown to be heads of Lion Cult. That way you give him a power base in & out of Wakanda. You could also play with the idea if KMjr is actually evil/a true villain or is benig used by his parent/parents

??? Coates? You mean the N'Jadaka who got blown up and killed by nu-achebe before he and T'Challa even spoke two words to each other let alone see each other? Or the Erik that was taken down by Okoye and needed his army to come save him? The same one shown sipping tea and talking to the symbiote and was almost killed by Storm.. who still hasn't even said a word to T'Challa? Is this considered cutting loose? We have watched for the last 5 years, Coates stunt T'Challa, and frankly his "cutting loose" killmonger doesn't seem any better.

Yeah but his son was a punk ass though. That was pretty much stated. I want to see the future T'Challa who outmaneuvered the younger version and whooped Tony's ass. THAT'S a potential evil T'Challa worth exploring.

Couldn’t King Solomon’s Brass Frogs, which currently are in Wakanda, be used to summon a slightly older and evil T’Challa to the present.

    Now that would be interesting.

That sounds pretty good. The only thing is that I'd want all Wakandans to shun him because if they don't, we'll have another civil war.

Honestly, Kilmonger is pretty much played out at this point imo.

And if this is Coates unleashing Kilmonger then meh.

So any thoughts on whether Wakanda is gonna play any role in Heroes Reborn since it’s about Blade waking up in a universe where the Avengers never existed?

Really klaw and Erik were completely wasted in Coates era, well really every villain has been wasted completely. He can't be bothered to try a little to make the villain formidable or ever consistent
