At one point, Boseman said he wouldn't do TV anymore. So I doubt it.

I believe he had said in the past that he wasn't interested in doing television. So he probably wouldn't have shown up anyway

See, this is the Africa people aren't seeing, they don't want to show this africa, one that has Black Kings with their equally important black queens. Black excellence, men and women working together and succeeding together. This right here as well as your other post, should be the very embodiment of Wakanda (which it is, WK has always shown women in high positions of power through out publication history) the fact that Coates didn't do any research at all other then picking out a few African names here and there. Shows the complete lack of understanding of Wakanda and what it represents

Like I said in African history especially pre-colonialism, women were always a vital part of the societies even if they were patriarchal. Wakanda should be similar to Ancient Nubia/Egypt for example but more advanced

As for the bolded that's all Coates did. If I remember correctly.... Wakanda is located in the great lakes region of East Africa, so why the hell are there West African names all the way in East Africa? Why are the Hausa names which are from West Africa all the way in East Africa? The Hausas and the West African Orishas have nothing to do with East Africa.

is Ghana the outlier or the rule as it pertains to the idea of gender roles within the continent?

There are some cases in Africa but the Akan of Ghana is the one I’m most familiar with because of my Nigerian heritage (Ghana and Nigerian are fairly close geographically).

But to be clear, these societies are more matrilineal than matriarchal. But the general point stands that women were and still are very prominent members of society and business.

Watching Zemo on F&WS makes me wish they didnt kill Klaue off. Even though it made total sense story wise and helped ground the movie.

I don't think it's beyond the realm of possibility that they are thinking of having Klaue come back as a sound creature. I mean, Andy Serkis is the king of mocap so it seems like something they've likely at least considered.

I'm not so sure... Andy is getting up there in years, and the way they killed him isn't exactly conducive to technological resurrection.
