Jackson and Erica were married at the time and when Jackson was fired from the show, yes i was in that deep. lol. Erica took care of Reggie for quite a bit of time. I remember always loving their dynamic. Him and susan lucci played great off each other. But yes he was Jackson adopted son legally.

Join the club. I loved that show, and remembered when Boseman briefly played Reggie before being recast with Jordan (yep I'm old lol). Erica had so many lovers and husbands it was something of a running gag, but yes she worked best with Jackson.

As much as it sucks that Jordan and the other talented black men you mentioned had to deal with harassment, I still think T’Challa should end up with an unambiguously black woman. There’s nothing wrong with black icons (especially in a fictional context) being with black women and I do think that’s it’d be poor imagery for such an empowering character to not rep a woman that has the same skin as him.

A one night stand is one thing but a legitimate relationship/marriage? Yea there’s literally over a dozen other black male characters that can be used for that, as we’ve seen with the likes of Brother Voodoo, Blade, Luke Cage, John Stewart, Sunspot, and more. It’d be nice to have at least one black male hero who like MANY real-life black men prefers black women and nearly always is with one. As for Jordan being the next BP, that’s not gonna happen lol. He’ll end up in an Ancestral Plane scene then go back to being a dead man, likely acting as the devil on the new BP’s shoulder.

i have no ill-will toward RJ or any BP creators but they are the losers. they had to cheat to win.

Did RJ come-up with that concept all on his own?

Sure the general concept may be similar but I wouldn't say that it's stolen.

Might be Echo. Maybe she won her fight against Namor.

Yeah, of all the women in the contest, it looks like Echo to me. The silhouette doesn't match Red Widow, Shana or Valkyrie. Too adult to be Moon Girl. To slender to be Aaron's She-Hulk, although Jennifer Walters isn't out of the question. Echo is the closest fit.

Unless, of course, they've altered the silhouette for the cover to make it harder to guess--in which case all bets are off.
