Fair enough.... I don't mind torture porn as long as BP wins BY HIMSELF without TNC nonsense of being saved or assisted by whatever side character.

But I do agree that lackeys and Goon Slam Barrys should never be able to be capable of hurting BP EXCEPT for perhaps some major villains with BP pulling through and winning.

Anyhow, after TNCs horrid run. I can understand who that might have tainted how many see McGregor's BP run.

We don't know how long Ridley will be on BP but I really hope he is getting a truly kickass BP hopefully for the next few years.

I agree, Mcgregors panther was extremely passive and reacted/ stumbled into situations which was a problem for the king and a warrior of his caliber. You would think he was some second rare warrior by how much and How often he got beat down. Not great.

Yes he had allies but like you said they were More pawns. They worked and functioned under his command. Hudlin they were more asset's than pawns. But they never were equals. Coates shifted completely and made them come off as the heroes while T'Challa was just the guy to happened to be there. Hell when N'Jadaka comes to Wakanda prime Okoye is front and center and T'Challa is off to the side, Okoye takes down Erik and T'Challa takes down Zenzi. Like, who's supposed to be the hero? T'Challa or Okoye because how he is treated you would not think he is THE guy.

I mean read Mcgregors run and seeing an old lady split his scalp and him being knocked around by some teens, would you really believe that was the same guy who solod the FF or one shot Karnak?

I also understand that villains wee more proactive but they should not be getting the business by redshirts. Sure maybe the mini boss gives them trouble as well as the big bad. But redshirts are there to get hand's put on them

I agree. He may have gotten the wins but many of them were hollow wins, hence the pyrrhic victories moniker.

When the villains beat you like a piniata' and you win because of someone else has to step in or the villain self-defeats, it's impossible to get excited about that.

There has been no indication in his own book that T'Challa has the quijones to do something like this.

His fights against Killmonger in Panther’s Rage should have gone like how it did in the Iron Man annual. Now that I think about it T'Challa seemed to have better showings outside if his own books during that era. At least in Gillis' mini he took down the Supremacist singlehandedly. God knows how bad it would have been if McGregor wrote it.
