Ewing is writing the main thing so it has my mild attention but... I dont like space stories.

I'll be interested if Evan can put his own spin on "huge faceless army comes to Wakanda"

RJ just knocked that out of the park. Even Ewing before him did ok in Empyre with T'challa front and center.

Maybe it focuses more on the Galactic Side.

New BP ability in Heroes Return #1.

Now I want to see him go against Quicksilver.

I probably won't get this but I'd like a story where t'challa isn't stuck between 2 bad outcomes that he choose between. That man lives between a rock and a hard place

Weird grey area of feats where it was "our heroes" but the universe wasn't the same.

See: Vibranium weakening hyperion to the point Cap hurt him lol

Be curious if Aaron brings up T'challa's previous relationship with Mephisto or not

So true, for the last few years T'Challa has been written into half obscurity as far as being an impactful world leader. I say look no further than whats happening with mutants, he has direct connections to Storm and she's becoming the ruler of Mars...??!?!? In the SWORD book we see cap and Doom having discourse on earth humans role in all of this. Why do we see mention of an emissary instead of the king?

I get wanting to expand WK and I don't mind occasionally seeing emissary's from Wakanda or even Okoye showing up for things on T'Challas place. HOWEVER, T'Challa is the franchise. The Black Panther IS Wakanda and T'Challa IS the Black Panther. That's the point that people need driving into them. It's jos world and he should be the focal point

That explains the world building in SWORD. He created a new division in the Empire with a new character that Tchalla trust with no explanations. Lol

I could see Ewing bringing back to Tiger God Pokeball in this event.

Ewing is probably the only one that remembers lol. And Doramammu as Ego is sufficient threat for it

I think that’s something he would’ve had to clear with the BP writers, right? If Ridley gave the okay he might just not care about space. He seems to be going for a more Earthbound run and maybe all the space stuff is kinda seen as irrelevant to his main story. Clearly Marvel has plans for Intergalactic Wakanda but I don’t expect it to be too big a factor. But it does make me wonder what the plans are for fake M’Baku.

Also I don’t have a problem with them using emissaries for small stuff like that meeting in SWORD. Xandra wasn’t there to represent the Shi’ar and Hulking wasn’t representing the Kree-Skrulls, so he was getting treated like another big gun.

If they had all the major heads of state and T’Challa was the only one missing then I’d say they’re going out of their way to sideline him, but that’s not the case here. And I definitely don’t give a damn about his thoughts on Storm’s new role so leaving it to some ambassador is fine by me lol.

It's not the new character that's the problem. It that things seem so be put in place as if Tchalla had always been in charge of the empire. The first few years should be civil war as some factions break away, some given their independence, and some trying to take power.

But do we really want more BP stories in space though lol. I’m fine hand waving all that nonsense away so Ridley can focus on his own thing with T’Challa in Wakanda Prime and Ewing can tell his story. I agree it doesn’t make much sense but the workings of empires and kingdoms in fiction is often simplified to just move the story along.

I want space Wakanda, just not "Coates" space Wakanda. lol

Dude I want to see that so much. I mean, it's one of those tools that you basically use as a one shot and not a regular occurrence but yeah I want to see that show up again. Actually there's alot I want to see. Nyami motherships, Panther Gundam, hand of Bast, Doomsday Panthers... I basically was to see the full might or dang bear full might of Wakanda unleashed. I don't care much about IGEW and what tech is there. K need Wakanda primes full might on full display as that's where all the cool isn't is stand not generic space stuff

If Doramammu destroyed them all in this next event, I honestly wouldn't give it a second thought lol

I just want Wakanda lol. We’ve had like 3 years of space Wakanda now and good or bad I’ve had my fill. So giving the concept over to Ewing, who’s the only X-writer I trust with BP stuff, is much better than Ridley trying to make Coates’ crappy concepts viable. I don’t expect Ewing to do too much with it anyway so I don’t particularly care if it fades into obscurity or gets destroyed because 5 galaxies worth of Wakandans just sounds stupid IMO, especially given how we got there.

That’s pretty much how I feel. I don’t want BP turned into a cosmic book so writers can ignore it, destroy it, whatever they want. As long as Ridley doesn’t feel the need to do a space story every other arc and has maximum freedom to build T’Challa on Earth I’m happy.
